The Global Air Drone Academy is a minority led non-profit organization with a mission of serving our community youth. We believe that the key to emboldening our students is to show them through example. Our team of engineers, project managers, entrepreneurs, and drone pilots dedicate their time to teaching the future generation the skills necessary to grow into the leaders they deserve to be. Through our industry experience, and partnerships with the FAA, AIAA, and the US State Department we have been able to reach thousands of children all over the world!
Every dollar you donate helps students in our Junior Drone Pilot Program obtain valuable experience, certificates and licenses. The Junior Drone Pilot program is a 4 year tiered system designed to build both skills and confidence to help underrepresented youth achieve their dreams.
How does your money help?
COST
One of the primary barriers in underrepresented youth becoming tech savvy is cost. Your donation helps us break down that cost barrier to show our students, that they too deserve all of the tools they need to enhance their skills.
Field Trips
We introduce our students to professionals in STEM careers through field trips
Workshops
We teach our students through our popular build-a-drone workshop & coding workshops how to grow their skills

This is especially important in underserved communities where the wage gap is significant.

The shocking truth is that still millions of children in the world are not going to school, and that going to school does not mean they get the proper education. We can provide the chance to make a living. We have the ambition to reach 1 million children through our e-learning program by 2024.
