Explore new heights by learning about exciting new drone technology! The Global Air Drone Academy has developed an innovative 8-Week after-school program where students learn to use math, science, and engineering skills to model, build and fly a drone from scratch! Drones are increasingly being used in agriculture, construction, and animal conservation, and our course is designed to teach youth about the growing career and entrepreneurial opportunities in this emerging industry.
Each child will have the opportunity to BUILD and TAKE HOME their own drone to hone their skills. Students will also have the opportunity to learn programming and coding (Scratch, Python, and Swift) through an interactive app.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE DRONE ACADEMY
1. Introduce youth to science, technology, engineering, and math-related curriculum.
2. Increase awareness of academic preparation for careers in the drone and aviation industry.
3. Provide hands-on, experimental learning in small groups that connect real-life applications with drone use.
4. Inspire curiosity and interest in science and math that can lead to career opportunities.
